The folks in the Yo-Kai Watch world also feel more actual than Pokemon game folks. Everybody, from little kids to old people, in the Pokemon world, is obsessed with talking about Pokemon. Practically everybody you speak to gives you meta-game advice about Pokemon or Pokemon-related services. They'ren't folks; they are an lengthy tutorial delivery service. The folks in Yo-Kai Watch, on the other hand, have distinct personalities and problems that you can choose to help them with.
