What I enjoyed most about playing Pokemon Go was that I logged nearly 5,000 steps while playing. Yes, people do get a significant amount of exercise while playing. But, folks continue to be glued to their telephones, obsessively staring at their telephone display looking for the next Pokemon.

For the past week or so, all I 've seen on social media sites are folks posting about playing Pokemon Go. As the serious writer, I 'm, I needed to write an article about it. But of course, that would mean I'd need to play. I did not desire to play this Pokemon game. I've never once in my life had the want to play anything that's to do with Pokemon. For the sake of this article, though, I pitched all of those thoughts away and walked around for an hour and a half attempting to figure out this Pokemon craze.

The Pokemon card game is really popular with children. You may not believe that that has anything at all to do with robots, but if you let your sense go a little 'fuzzy' I believe we can see robotic theories in all life- that in fact machines were meant to replace things people do and robot 'humanizes' the machine even more because of more extensive parameters. Similarly, we get the stats on a Pokemon, and it is rather like a robot. But that is not so in the imagination. In the imagination it is something alive. And if we do something to it like allow it to be glossy (glossy daikon cards), it becomes even more valuable and alive. But the bottom line truth to all computer games is they are robots. Will Pokemon ever become real?

It simply doesn't make a lot of sense to me how intense folks got when I played. Go find her!" Because all of a sudden, I Had see a group of four teenaged boys running down the street, phones in hand. Clearly, no. Those boys weren't after cash or Beyonce. They were not after anything real, anything with an actual benefit or outcome, for that matter.

If the dream behind a game is strong enough, it can result in spinoffs. Conversely, something that is popular like Ultraman can result in a game. But games usually remain games and playthings stay playthings. Pokemon has seen really good spinoff (though it is not taking the world by storm) because of its intriguing theory. This is where the robot is left behind, and the human imagination starts to reach out and explore.

I began by walking around downtown Springfield, Missouri, with a buddy. My friend is quite into Pokemon Go. He's spent the last week walking around parks and sites through the city trying to get unfamiliar virtual creatures. He attempted to teach me how.

The imagination is a funny thing. Geeks design and fight their 'bots' with an extremely strong ego: they designed the robot; they are matching their skill against their adversary's. When a premise, or story, is place into a game that all changes. Pokemon are robots to be sure, but the user did not design them- computer game geeks did. So it becomes a fantasy world in which the item is to get the best Pokemon that one can use it 'feature' to the best of one's ability. When losing, one can practically feel the Pokemon let him down, wasn't powerful enough, or whatever. He may blame himself partly, but not entirely.

Pokemon fans through the entire world may shun me, but my conclusion is that I still don't understand the craze. I do not understand how folks do not get bored with it after a few minutes and how they get so passionate about funny-looking characters on an app. I do not understand why anyone would spend time on something absurd like Pokemon Go. That said, it's not my place to tell the world to quit doing what they love. If you desire to play, then play. But I, for one, will not.

If a Pokemon appears, you have to throw a virtual Poke Ball at it to catch it. Then you walk and walk and walk some more to capture more Pokemon. Seemingly, you sometimes can snitch Pokemon from others and have battles with other users also. That part is over my head.

Not many are conscious of this perhaps (or maybe you're!) but virtually every computer game we play is an application of robotic applications technology. That's, the icons you see, and maneuver are software settings with set parameters. It cannot go beyond those parameters just because that is the limit of its programming. Very often, in fact, 'upgrading' doesn't include adding a brand new function to an existing entity, but instead merely replacing it in its entirety and downloading its memory from the game's database.

So why are these monsters so rare? Most of this list checks out; in the Pokémon games, each infamous fowl, and Mewtwo are just located in specific locations, while Mew is historically one of the hardest monsters to locate and catch. As for Ditto, however, although the Standard-type is not classified as a celebrated, it can be tough to locate in many of the traditional games. That's due in part to its unique abilities that are breeding; the Pokémon breed and can mimic with nearly any other to replicate Pokémon. As for where to locate them, it is still not possible to say. Pokémon GO PokéStop in Coorparoo QLD 4151 requires players to travel around the world to locate all secrets and its hidden monsters, and with the game still not out in Japan, among other places, fans may need to continue trying to find quite a while before locating any of these rarities. Ripley's Believe It Or Not is hosting a contest for players' coolest finds, so Pokémon out of could be tempted by maybe the allure of $5,000 could tempt hiding.
